Who runs this site

GTA Map Free is an unofficial fan interactive map planned, built, and maintained by Feanaro, a GTA fan map developer since 2026.

In huge open worlds, a map is one of the most important tools. Many established map sites lock key features behind paid memberships or ship an English-only interface, which creates language and payment barriers.

This site started to remove those barriers so anyone can explore location data easily. The GTA 5 Story Mode map is live now; a GTA 6 map is planned for launch in the same style.

What we focus on

Free for everyone — no paywall on core map and checklist features.
Multilingual UI — labels and copy in eleven languages.
No sign-up — open the site and use the map; progress stays in your browser until you export a code.
Video guides on pins — where available, pin details include YouTube guides.

Pin data

Pin locations are based on in-game investigation by the operator. We also review community reports and cross-check official wikis where available.

FAQ

Is anything paid?: ↳ No. Everything is free.
My progress disappeared?: ↳ Browser data was cleared, or the browser blocked saving. Keep a copy of your progress code.
Checks don't save?: ↳ Private browsing, blocked site data, or a full device can wipe them after refresh. Use a normal window and back up your progress code.
Does applying a code change my custom markers?: ↳ Yes. Markers are in the code, so they replace whatever custom markers are on this device.
Why do you collect nicknames from reports?: ↳ After review, we can credit you as the first finder on that pin.
Is this GTA Online?: ↳ Right now we only offer the Story Mode map. We’ll update when GTA 6 Online launches.
Where's GTA 6?: ↳ There's a countdown on the home page. Right now only the GTA 5 map is live.
